About Mia Brodie

A life long lover of fashion, always with a flair for styling and identifying trends, Mia studied at the London College of Fashion, and went on to have an exciting and interesting career as a Communications Director in both the fashion and beauty industries, working for some of the world's most recognisable brands.

However this love of fashion led to daily and excessive purchases of fast fashion and she had a realisation that something had to change... and quick! So in 2011 a version of Spin Preloved (originally called Spinning Skirt) was created as a way to break this terrible habit and offer a sustainable circular clothing economy.

"Fundamentally, being sustainable is never going to go out of style, and the bottom line is that being sustainable is no longer a choice, it is absolutely essential!'
